It’s as if I’ve reached my limit. The absurdity of the blatant lies - and the sycophantic jumping up in unison, applauding and whooping as if they’ve won a hockey game…(🫢) when they’re actually cheering on the destruction of our form of government feels surreal. As if I am watching them from another reality.
IMHO, we news junkies need to cut back on our news ‘fix’ in order to maintain what’s left of our peace of mind. I, too, did not watch the SOTU; his voice and demeanor cause me to bristle and I don’t need to hear any more of his lies.
I did not watch and haven't even wanted to listen to any recaps. No. No. No.
Me either!

Interesting how few of us seem to have tuned in. And you are so correct.
I need to perhaps stop paying *quite* so close attention to “all of that” and instead spend my time finishing The Quest.
You did just fine. And I agree with you about the shoe-dropping.
Guess we’ll see.
Nope. Me either. I watched a bit of an alternate but really?? I'm tired. Trying to step back a tiny bit without letting go completely.
Yes. Even the alternatives were just too much.
I’ve heard it all. Now we need action.
But you kept your calm and your sanity. Isn't that a good message to share?
Yes, I suppose it is, Iris.
Thanks for giving me that perspective.
